RMK is building a world-class skate park in Yekaterinburg.
In the sports quarter "Archangel Michael" in Yekaterinburg, another extreme venue will soon appear. The Russian Copper Company is working on the creation of the skate park "RMC Extreme." The park will cover an area of 3,000 square meters, and its configuration will include a training area, a street figure zone, and an amplitude jumping zone. The training area will have a soft surface, including a foam pit, to safely practice complex tricks, writes 66.RU. The street figure zone is a frame platform that simulates an urban environment. The amplitude jumping zone is designed for more experienced riders. It will not only be the most challenging but also the largest, as it will host spectacular competitions in scootering, BMX, and skateboarding.
"The sports location will be created according to Olympic standards and will be suitable for holding major international and nationwide competitions," says the RMC channel in MAX.
"The park is designed for both the progress of current riders and for teaching beginners from the age of three, making it a universal base for all levels of training." The skate park will open at the end of May. Throughout the summer, there will be master classes with top riders from Russia and the world, an extreme sports school will be organized, and the "RMC Extreme" camp will take place.
