A stone table tennis table collapsed on children in Verkhnyaya Pyshma.

      A stone ping-pong table collapsed on a boy in Verkhnyaya Pyshma, reports "Channel Four" in MAX on Friday.

      The incident occurred in the yard of a house on Alexander Latyshev Street. According to eyewitnesses, children were sitting right on the edge of the structure. Suddenly, the heavy tabletop tilted and fell.

      The child trapped underneath cried out for help, and panic ensued in the yard, eyewitnesses told "Channel Four."

      "I heard the child's scream: 'Help, help!'. I looked out from the balcony - one boy was lying under the tabletop, pinned down. The second was sitting by the fence, holding his leg and crying. Then a man ran out from the yard and they lifted the tabletop."

      Both injured boys, born in 2014 and 2017, were hospitalized.

      The Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case under the article on providing services that do not meet safety requirements.
