In Yekaterinburg, the first stage of hydraulic testing of heating networks is starting as part of the preparation for the new heating season. The work will take place from May 18 to May 21, reported the Yekaterinburg Heat Company.
Specialists will check the main, distribution, and block networks under increased pressure through the return pipeline. The tests will be conducted without shutting off hot water supply. The work is scheduled for nighttime — from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
During the testing period, building owners, heat points, and network operators need to disconnect heating systems from the tested pipelines and monitor their condition. Owners of warehouses and basement premises where material valuables are stored are advised to organize duty shifts and take measures to prevent possible flooding in case of damage to the heating mains.
