A new modern emergency room has opened in Yekaterinburg.
A new emergency room has opened at City Clinical Hospital No. 40. Starting from 8:00 AM on May 18, a "green" zone of the emergency and diagnostic department has been established here, where patients can receive medical assistance either by self-referral or by referral from outpatient clinics.
The main entrance to the new department is located on Volgogradskaya Street. For patients with limited mobility, there is an access point for personal vehicles through the hospital's checkpoints from Akademika Bardina and Volgogradskaya streets.
For the first month, the department will operate in test mode. At this stage, patient reception will be organized only in the "green" zone format—daily from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. According to the hospital's information, this will allow for the optimization of logistics, technological processes, and interaction between services before transitioning to full capacity.
Additionally, medical staff will undergo further training in the triage system—classifying patients based on the severity of their condition. Specialists from other regions will participate in the training of staff.
Meanwhile, the previous emergency department will continue to operate around the clock, including for providing emergency medical assistance.
