A batch of meat with an altered expiration date was sent to a school in Sverdlovsk.
Violations in the registration of veterinary accompanying documents for meat products were identified in the Sverdlovsk region by specialists from the Rosselkhoznadzor during monitoring of food safety in the FGIS "VetIS".
Violations were detected on May 18 by the LLC "Yekaterinburg Meat Processing Complex". The enterprise, operating in the city of Sredneuralsk, issued a production veterinary accompanying document for a batch of beef shoulder cuts, which contained inaccurate information.
In particular, the production and expiration dates of the product were altered: instead of "production date 18.03.2026, valid until 14.09.2026," the document stated "production date 07.05.2026, valid until 03.11.2026."
The recipient of 34 kg of product with the altered expiration date was a school in the Bogdanovich district.
As a result of the inspection, the enterprise was issued a warning, and the registration of the authorized person of the complex in the FGIS "VetIS.Passport" was suspended for 10 days. In addition, the production certificate for the specified batch of products was annulled.
An informational letter was sent to the recipient school, demanding the withdrawal of the questionable quality product from circulation.
