A free summer space for relaxation opens in the center of Yekaterinburg.

      Today, May 23, the project "Summer in the Square" starts in Yekaterinburg. The updated public space will operate until October 15 and will become a venue for relaxation, sports, and urban events.

      By the beginning of the season, the area of the 1905 Square has been transformed into a "multifunctional recreational zone." Mobile decking, flowerbeds with greenery, benches, and canopies protecting from the sun and rain have appeared here. Additionally, the space has been equipped with architectural lighting featuring several lighting scenarios.

      During the project's operation, parking of cars in the square will be prohibited.

      The site will also become part of the program for major urban events. In particular, it is planned that one of the zones of "Summer in the Square" will host the "Movement" festival.

      In the second half of the season, the space will be complemented by sports infrastructure: paddle courts will be installed in the square. Both beginners and experienced athletes will be able to play, and the first weekday sessions will be free for everyone.

      So far, "Summer in the Square" looks just like it did a year ago.
