Some cities in Sverdlovsk have completely lost mobile internet.
Residents of several cities in the Sverdlovsk region have been unable to access mobile internet since May 16. Residents of Pervouralsk, Nizhny Tagil, Kirovgrad, and Krasnoturinsk complained to the publication "Signal Ural." Meanwhile, in Yekaterinburg and Nizhny Tagil, the connection is working.
— In Pervouralsk and the surrounding areas, there has been a single whitelist since May 16. Even banking applications cannot be accessed. However, on the highway between Pervouralsk and Bilyimba, the internet is available. Apparently, the most accessible mobile internet right now is in the forest, one resident told the media.
Ural residents clarified that the connection is being "jammed" for subscribers of "Beeline" and "Megafon," while users of MTS can still access the internet. Representatives of the telecom operators confirm the existence of restrictions but say there is nothing they can do about it.
— In your area, communication services are temporarily restricted at the request of government agencies. This measure is for security purposes and is mandatory for all mobile networks. The operator cannot influence the lifting of restrictions and their duration, says the support service of the operator "T2."
The press service of Megafon added:
— There may currently be difficulties with mobile internet. The issues arose for reasons beyond our control. We understand how important it is to stay connected and recommend using Wi-Fi during this period.
Recall that last Saturday, mobile internet was turned off throughout the Sverdlovsk region due to a drone danger regime.
