According to preliminary data, the incident happened on Uktusskaya Street when a 16-year-old parent, riding a rented electric scooter, hit a child pedestrian. The child, according to police information, stepped onto the roadway from behind a parked car.
The injured boy was taken to the hospital with a soft tissue injury to the head. After being examined by medical staff, he was released home.
It has been established that the child was on the street accompanied by adults: his mother was walking ahead and did not notice the approaching electric scooter.
Currently, all circumstances of the accident and the identities of the participants are being established.
The police also found that the teenager operating the electric scooter had rented the vehicle. Information regarding the incident will be sent to the juvenile affairs department.
Additionally, the materials will be forwarded to the territorial commission for juvenile affairs.
