Sverdlovsk residents cannot fly out of Turkey.
The return of Russian tourists from Turkey is under threat due to problems with the airline Air Anka. The difficulties have affected passengers from Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Sochi, Mineralnye Vody, and Ufa. This was reported by the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).
According to the organization, the carrier received permission to operate charter flights only until May 25, despite a previously agreed summer schedule with Turkish aviation authorities.
The company stated that they are working with requests on an individual basis and are trying to find the most suitable options for tourists. Passengers who are already in Turkey are promised an extension of their hotel stays at the expense of the tour operator.
However, some vacationers report problems on the ground. According to TASS, several families with children from Rostov-on-Don are unable to fly out of Antalya. Tourists reported that they were evicted from their rooms, although families with children were allowed to remain on the hotel premises. At the same time, no exact information about the date of the return flight has been provided to people yet.
From Yekaterinburg, the Air Anka flight to Antalya, scheduled for May 28 at 22:15, has also been canceled.
