Yekaterinburg residents who bought apartments near the Botanical Garden may lose this view.

      In Yekaterinburg, residents of the residential complex "Botanika Green House" expressed concern over plans to build a new apartment building on a plot of land next to their homes. The situation was discussed at a meeting with residents and representatives of the authorities.

      The residential complex is located near the Botanical Garden of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. According to residents, the proximity to the garden and the view it offers were key factors in their decision to purchase housing.

      As apartment owners note, the developer had previously stated that the disputed land plot would be used for parking. However, the territory was later sold, and now plans are in place to construct a new residential building on it.

      Residents fear that additional construction will lead to increased pressure on the existing infrastructure of the area and will worsen the quality of the urban environment.

      During the meeting, it was noted that the land plot was acquired by the new owner on legal grounds. At the same time, the authorities intend to seek a solution that will take into account the interests of both the residents of the residential complex and the construction company operating within the framework of the law. This was stated by the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, Denis Pasler, on his Telegram channel.

      The issue of further development of the territory will be considered with regard to legal requirements and the necessity of maintaining comfortable living conditions in the area.
