According to the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as reported by RIA Novosti, in the evening of May 31, a MAN truck with a semi-trailer was traveling on the highway from Perm towards Yekaterinburg. The driver was a man born in 1977.
Preliminary data indicates that at the 113th kilometer of the highway, the man did not take into account the road and weather conditions, which caused the semi-trailer to skid into the oncoming lane. There, the truck collided with a Lada Largus car driven by a woman born in 1982.
As a result of the collision, the driver of the passenger car and three minor passengers (born in 2010, 2013, and 2016) sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. Another passenger born in 2019 was injured.
