      The charges were brought under paragraph "b" of part 4 of article 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, "Violent sexual actions against a person who has not reached the age of fourteen." Initially, the man fully admitted his guilt, but after consulting with a lawyer, he partially confessed.

      The Chkalovsky District Court sentenced him to 7 years in a strict regime. The convicted man's lawyer filed an appeal against the sentence, which is scheduled for consideration in July. The incriminated actions are punishable by imprisonment for a term of 12 to 20 years.
