The tattoo artist was arrested in Yekaterinburg for satanic* photographs in her portfolio.

      The administrator of a Telegram channel was sent to a special detention center in Yekaterinburg for satanic symbolism, reports the press service of the Sverdlovsk region courts. The Verkh-Isetsky District Court of Yekaterinburg found tattoo artist Polina Soldatova guilty under part 1 of article 20.3 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation ("Public demonstration of the symbols of an extremist organization"). In March, police identified two photographs in Soldatova's Telegram channel: a photo of a woman with a bat tattoo and in lingerie featuring an image of Baphomet, and a photo of a woman wearing a choker with an inverted five-pointed star (two points up).

      At the time of the inspection, these publications had 167 views and 29 reactions, which was classified as public demonstration of the attributes of an extremist organization, prohibited by articles 12 and 13 of Federal Law No. 114-FZ "On Counteracting Extremist Activities."

      A protocol on administrative offense was drawn up against the channel administrator (Polina Soldatova).

      Soldatova fully admitted her guilt and the fact of posting the images. Her argument about the absence of intent was rejected by the court, which stated that the composition of the offense includes both intentional actions and negligent ones.

      The court sentenced the defendant to 10 days of administrative arrest, which she appealed to a higher court. However, the Sverdlovsk Regional Court found no grounds for mitigating the punishment and confirmed the legality of the arrest, leaving the decision of the first instance court in force. The activities of the International Satanism Movement have been recognized as prohibited in the Russian Federation by the decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation dated July 23, 2025, in case No. АКПИ25-416С.
