In Yekaterinburg, controllers of the Transport Control Center (TCC) were "recruited" as volunteers for the Comfortable Urban Environment program (CUE) of the national project "Infrastructure for Life."
On June 5, 2026, controllers from the Transport Control Center in Yekaterinburg were involved in collecting votes for urban improvement projects under the "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment" program.
As CUE volunteers, the controllers work at metro stations and crossings, at bus stops, and even on public transport vehicles, the city administration's press service reported. Three teams of volunteers (two people in each) are collecting votes from residents for the improvement of urban facilities. Due to their work, the controllers are sociable and know how to communicate with people. They collect about 350-400 votes daily.
"We are fighting for every vote to secure federal funding for park improvements, so there are places to walk and spend free time. This is an important task for the city, for its development and improvement," explained the decision to help Maxim Salimov, the deputy head of the TCC's control and audit service, who himself became a volunteer.
In total, more than 3,000 volunteers are collecting votes in Yekaterinburg. To date, about 235,000 residents have voted. You can help the city transform until June 12—either with the help of a volunteer or on the State Services portal.
Recall that in the year before last, 2024, the park of the 50th anniversary of the VLKSM ("Dog Park") in the Southwest won the city voting, and in 2025, the embankment of the rivers Iset and Olkhovka.
