In the Sverdlovsk region, they want to increase the production of civilian drones.
In Yekaterinburg, new developments in the field of unmanned aerial systems were presented. As reported by the media outlet "Signal Ural," an off-site meeting dedicated to the development of the industry was held at the "University" technopark, chaired by the Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk region - Minister of Industry and Science of the region Alexey Shmykov.
According to him, the development of unmanned aviation remains one of the priority tasks. Today, drones are used in a variety of fields - from agriculture and environmental monitoring to ensuring public safety. At the meeting, Ural companies presented their own technological solutions. The "Laboratory of the Future" showcased drones for inspecting power lines and the "Truck M500" drone, capable of participating in firefighting in high-rise buildings. The company "Aviron" presented communication systems for UAVs, which are already being used by manufacturers across the country and may further enter foreign markets.
Engineer Semyon Anfinogenov also presented a project for the unmanned delivery of medications and biomaterials to remote settlements in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug.
