In the center of Yekaterinburg, from June 20 to September 1, traffic and pedestrian movement will be restricted on Pushkin Street due to large-scale landscaping.
The work will take place on the section from Lenin Avenue to Malyshev Street. The renovation will affect an area of 390 meters in length and more than 5,200 square meters in size.
After reconstruction, the four-lane roadway will become a two-lane one. The freed-up space will be transformed into a new pedestrian alley with a 330-meter bike path, rest areas, landscaping, and urban furniture. Here, 71 trees, nearly 11,500 shrubs will be planted, and lawns will be arranged.
During the construction work, vehicle traffic on Pushkin Street—from Malyshev Street to house No. 11—will be completely closed. Safe passages will be organized for pedestrians: landscaping will be carried out in stages on different sides of the street, leaving access to the free part.
