Private bus carriers in Yekaterinburg have organized a fundraising campaign to provide financial support for the families of those who died in the accident at the intersection of March 8 and Malyshev. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Yekaterinburg Main." According to their data, employees of Gorttrans are also joining the fundraising effort.
On the evening of June 10, a fatal traffic accident involving a passenger bus occurred in the center of Yekaterinburg. At the intersection of Malyshev and March 8 streets, bus route No. 81 collided with a Lifan passenger car, after which it lost control, drove onto the sidewalk, and crashed into people.
As a result of the accident, four people died - two women, a man, and a 9-year-old boy. Several others were injured and hospitalized.
According to law enforcement, at the time of the accident, there were 11 passengers on the bus. They were not harmed. The bus driver and the driver of the passenger car also managed to avoid injury.
Preliminary investigations have established that the bus entered the intersection on a red traffic light. Investigative authorities and police officers continue to determine all the circumstances and causes of the tragedy that occurred.
