According to the citizens, bus drivers often run intersections on red traffic signals, creating dangerous situations on the roads.
— They speed through on yellow right in the city center near the Circus; I constantly observe such incidents. On Kraulya at the traffic light near school No. 74, the same thing happens—they increase their speed to make it through on the yellow signal, a resident of the VIZ microdistrict told "KP-Yekaterinburg."
The interviewees believe that once the public outcry over the fatal accident subsides, control over the carriers may weaken again.
In the opinion of the residents, this will lead to continued violations by bus drivers.
