Crowds of people filled Yekaterinburg last night.
The Ural Music Night festival in Yekaterinburg gathered 450,000 spectators, reports the Department of Information Policy.
About 2,500 musicians participated in the program. Concerts took place at 110 venues throughout the city.
One of the main themes of the festival was the 40th anniversary of the Sverdlovsk Rock Club. Within the framework of the program, bands such as "CHAIF," "TOP," "Forbidden Drummers," "SmeshBand," and other artists connected to the history of Ural rock culture performed. Among the headliners of the festival were also Yulia Savicheva, the band "PITSA," Yulia Peresild with the band "MANDRAGORA," NLO, "Laud," Alexey Goribol, and other performers.
A special moment of the festival was the dedication to Yevgeny Gorenburg, the founder and general producer of Ural Music Night, who made a significant contribution to the development of musical life in Yekaterinburg. A commemorative video about him was shown on the screens of the stage at Oktyabrskaya Square and Plotinka.
Traditionally, the conclusion of the "Night of Music" was the action "Dawn" at Oktyabrskaya Square. Thousands of festival guests welcomed the dawn and sang the song "Ray of Golden Sun" together with the band "CHAIF."
