The construction of an office building has been approved near the Yekaterinburg Circus.
The authorities approved the project for the construction of a commercial-office building with an underground parking lot on the site of the former "Harbin" restaurant on Kuybyshev.
Approval was required due to the location of the site within the boundaries of historical development: nearby are cultural heritage sites, including the Ryazanov House. The client for the expertise was the architectural bureau "Order," reports the publication EAN.
Near the circus, a building of variable height will be erected. On the Kuybyshev side, it will be three stories tall, while on the side of the Iset River embankment, it will be four stories tall. An underground parking lot is planned under the complex. The architectural solution envisions minimalist facades with a modular structure. For finishing, it is planned to use clinker gray tiles resembling brick, ventilated facades, and stained glass windows.
The documentation states that the new building should become part of a unified architectural ensemble with a commercial-office center on the neighboring site at Kuybyshev, 36, where the "Delhi" hotel was previously located. However, the parameters of the second object are not disclosed in the conclusion.
It was previously reported that the territory near the "UGMK-Arena" was allocated for development by KRT.
