July 4, 2026 The international project "Summer University" will open for the fourth time on Monday, July 6, at the UrFU campus in the Novokoltsovsky microdistrict, the university's press service reports. It will bring together 430 students from 16 countries.
The "Summer University" will take place at the UrFU campus from July 6 to July 19 with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the FGANU "SocioCenter." 430 students from Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Vietnam, India, Indonesia, Jordan, China, the Republic of Srpska, Serbia, Sri Lanka, and South Africa will arrive in Yekaterinburg. On the opening day, producer, choreographer, and Olympic medalist Ilya Averbukh will speak to the guests. He will give a lecture titled "Act Like a Champion: Sports Principles for Everyday Life," organized by the "Knowledge.Career" project.
Participants will be offered eight educational programs in Russian and English. They will focus on information technology and artificial intelligence, economics, management, humanities, law, and nuclear technologies.
In addition to specialized classes, students can expect lectures on soft skills development, social design, and career trends.
Moreover, participants will enjoy a rich cultural and excursion program. They will visit the international industrial exhibition "Innoprom," the UGMK military and automotive technology museum, the "Park of Tales," the "Europe-Asia" stele, the Yeltsin Center, and will also take part in sports, creative, and national-cultural events.
The "Summer University" project from UrFU will take place in Yekaterinburg for the fourth time. Over the past three years, more than 1,200 students from different countries have participated in it.
