      The sets were being assembled in the UrFU building all night, but there are different versions regarding who was responsible for this. According to the supplier LLC "Terminal" (brand "Creative Merch Bureau"), it was done by their employees, while the university claims it was the university staff.

      As indicated in the correspondence provided by the company, closer to 7 AM, university representatives stated that they would not accept the gowns, as only 2/3 of the total volume had arrived, and there would still not be enough sets for all graduates, reports "Ъ-Ural."

      "We cannot allow a situation where some graduates are in gowns and others are not. To maintain unity and solidarity, we had to make the decision to refuse gowns for everyone at the ceremony," the UrFU Telegram channel stated.

      Currently, the sets, as claimed by the company, are at the university, with only a 30% advance payment made, and the acceptance acts for the gowns have not been signed. The university sent a notice of contract termination. The total cost of the contract exceeds 11 million rubles. The parties have not yet decided how to handle the gowns already received by the university. It is possible that they will still be handed out to those students who wish to receive the ceremonial set.
