The average nominal wage in the Sverdlovsk region for the period of January-April 2026 amounted to 92,870 rubles. Compared to the same period last year, it increased by 9.2%, reported the Sverdlovskstat.
At the same time, taking inflation into account, the growth of income turned out to be significantly more modest. The real wage increased by only 2.2%.
The lowest average salaries relative to the regional level were recorded in the hotel and public catering sectors, which were lower by 42,223 rubles. A significant lag was also noted in administrative activities (by 32,989 rubles) and in the real estate operations sector (by 24,774 rubles).
At the same time, in a number of industries, wages significantly exceed the regional average. For example, specialists engaged in professional, scientific, and technical activities earn on average 24,640 rubles more. In the financial and insurance sector, the excess amounts to 68,176 rubles.
The highest salaries are traditionally recorded in the information and communication sector. Here, the average wage level exceeds the regional average by 73,471 rubles.
