The municipality administration allocated 7.1 million rubles. This money was received by 278 residents. An additional 20.2 million rubles were provided from the Sverdlovsk budget for 502 residents.
The restoration of the housing affected by the tornado is also ongoing. Authorities noted that 119 out of 201 houses have been repaired. Gas and electricity supply have been fully restored in Kushva, and the kindergarten repairs have been completed. The repairs of the affected school are planned to be finished by August, reports the EAN publication.
It was previously reported that the tornado that struck Kushva on the evening of June 22 was not the only one. On the same evening, another tornado was active in the area, as shown by satellite image analysis. The overall scale of the disaster has been record-breaking for the Sverdlovsk region since the beginning of the century.
