Overall in Russia, the share of refusals for cash consumer loan applications was 73.3%, increasing by 1.4% compared to May. In neighboring regions, the values are similar: in the Chelyabinsk region, the figure in June was 74.6% (an increase of 1.4% compared to May), while in the Tyumen region (including Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug), the share of refusals rose by 1.1% — from 72% in May to 73.1% in June.
— In the context of a tight monetary policy, which includes, among other things, serious restrictions on lending to citizens with high debt burdens, banks still maintain a rather low risk appetite. They are raising requirements for the quality of credit histories of future borrowers, thereby reducing the risks of defaults in the future, the NBKI commented to the EAN publication.
It was previously reported that more than half of Sverdlovsk enterprises survive on loans.
