In the Sverdlovsk region, specialists from the regional Rospotrebnadzor have recorded a deterioration in water quality. As a result, the risk of spreading infectious diseases has increased, including dysentery and hepatitis A, reports the publication "Ural Meridian."
Specialists collected 177 samples from centralized water supply systems, 34% of which do not meet established sanitary and chemical requirements, and another 23% of samples do not meet microbiological standards. Agency employees reminded residents of the Urals who use water from wells that they need to clean their sources after the flood and also collect samples for laboratory testing.
Earlier, residents of Sverdlovsk were warned about the dangers of fish caught after the flood.
