— The driver of the VAZ-21093 did not maintain constant control over the movement. He died from his injuries in the ambulance. A passenger, a 38-year-old man, was taken to the intensive care unit of Hospital No. 36 in Yekaterinburg with injuries of varying severity, the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Sverdlovsk region reported.
In the Ford Focus, the driver, a 23-year-old female passenger, and a 7-year-old girl were injured. The latter was in a child seat and was buckled in with a seatbelt. The driver of the Ford was a 26-year-old resident of Bolshoy Istok. He had previously been held administratively responsible 24 times for traffic violations.
