Some passenger trains had to change their routes due to the derailment of a freight train on the Kisherte - Shumkovo stretch in the Perm region. This was reported by the Sverdlovsk Railway (SvZhD).
Trains No. 73 Tyumen - St. Petersburg, No. 69 Chita - Moscow, No. 149 Chelyabinsk - St. Petersburg, and No. 109 Novy Urengoy - Moscow will follow an altered route through the stations Kuzino and Lysva and will return to the main route at the station Perm.
Trains No. 1 Vladivostok - Moscow and No. 85 Serov - Moscow will also follow an altered route through the stations Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Tagil, and Chusovskaya, returning to the main route at the station Perm.
Trains No. 72 St. Petersburg - Yekaterinburg, No. 2 Moscow - Vladivostok, and No. 802 Perm - Yekaterinburg will be sent on an altered route through the stations Chusovskaya and Nizhny Tagil, returning to the main route at the station Yekaterinburg.
Passengers on trains delayed by more than four hours will be provided with meals.
In the Perm region, on the night of July 16, five loaded hopper cars and a locomotive of a freight train derailed on the Kisherte - Shumkovo stretch of the Sverdlovsk Railway. According to preliminary information, the cause of the incident was a local washout of the embankment.
As a result of the incident, no one was injured.
