A teenager from Yekaterinburg stole expensive smartphones from a pickup point that he had ordered with post-payment.
In Berezovsky, the court sentenced three residents of the Ural capital, one of whom is a minor, for the theft of mobile phones from a goods pickup point (PVP) of a marketplace, reports the prosecutor's office of the Sverdlovsk region.
The defendants, born in 2011, 2007, and 2005, were charged under paragraphs "a" and "d" of part 2 of article 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (robbery by a group of individuals by prior conspiracy, on a large scale).
It was established that the minor defendant used the marketplace's mobile application to purchase three mobile phones for a total amount of over 322 thousand rubles, selecting the "postpayment" option and the pickup point in the village of Kedorovka in the Berezovsky municipal district.
On the evening of November 16, 2025, the teenager arrived at the pickup point in a VAZ-21144 car belonging to the middle of his friends, Sergey Ilyushkin, together with him and Ramazon Davlatov, the oldest of the trio. There, he informed the employee of the order number and, after receiving the goods, ran out of the premises with them. On the same day, Davlatov pawned the stolen phones at a pawn shop in Yekaterinburg, receiving no less than 190 thousand rubles. The money obtained in this way was distributed among the members of the criminal group and spent on personal needs.
Davlatov and the minor admitted their guilt, expressed remorse for their actions, apologized to the representative of the marketplace, and also expressed their intention to compensate for the material damage caused. Ilyushkin did not fully admit his guilt, while not disputing the fact that he was with the defendants under the above-described circumstances.
On July 15, the Berezovsky City Court, taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, imposed the following sentences: for the minor - 1 year in a correctional colony; for Ramazon Davlatov - 3 years of compulsory labor, with 10% of his salary withheld for the benefit of the state; for Sergey Ilyushkin - 3 years and 3 months of compulsory labor, with 10% of his salary withheld for the benefit of the state.
In addition, the court ordered the convicted individuals to jointly pay the amount of material damage caused, exceeding 322 thousand rubles, in favor of the marketplace.
The convicted individuals are subjects of other criminal cases initiated regarding similar crimes committed in various cities of the Sverdlovsk region.
