"One of the attempted UAV attacks on our region has been repelled.
As a result of the debris falling from the UAV, a fire broke out in a parking lot covering an area of 300 square meters in the Chkalovsky district of Yekaterinburg," wrote the region's governor Denis Pasler on his channel on the "Max" platform.
Infrastructure facilities were not damaged, people were evacuated, and there are no casualties, Pasler reported.
As E1.RU writes, reports of a black column of smoke near the Wildberries warehouses began to arrive around 10 a.m. The logistics complex of Wildberries is located in the Chkalovsky district, on Perspectivnaya Street.
"The logistics complex of the company in Yekaterinburg was not damaged," the RVB press service commented on the situation.
"An advance planned evacuation was carried out at the company's logistics facility in Yekaterinburg in accordance with safety requirements.
Currently, the operation of the logistics facility is temporarily suspended. Resumption of operations in normal mode is planned in the near future," the RVB statement was quoted by the public "Evil Yekaterinburg."
