      In social networks, false information has been posted regarding the work of the police in Yekaterinburg to establish the circumstances of the death of the director of "UrFANIC URO RAN," Nikita Zezin. The head of the press service of the Sverdlovsk regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Valery Gorelykh, provided an official comment for the media.

      — A statement from the victim regarding the incident was received by the duty unit of police department No. 6 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Yekaterinburg on the evening of July 13, which was registered in the established manner and taken into work. On the same day, citizen Zezin was directed to undergo a forensic medical examination to establish the severity of the injuries he sustained. A patrol from the territorial internal affairs department was dispatched to the scene. Ministry of Internal Affairs representatives seized and analyzed video from external surveillance cameras. In addition, police officers promptly identified all participants in the conflict situation, including minors. Considering that children were involved in the collected materials, further investigation was taken over by colleagues from the regional Investigative Committee, who initiated a criminal case. The suspect has been placed in custody in a temporary detention facility. Thus, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Sverdlovsk region states that the information from social networks about the untimely response to the conflict resulting in a person's death is not true, noted Colonel Gorelykh.
