Some of the transferred land is classified as specially protected natural areas and cultural heritage sites, while some is not, according to "Ъ-Ural." According to the documents, the land has been transferred "for the purpose of conducting religious activities."
The diocese assured that they do not intend to construct permanent structures in the Porosenkov Log area.
"The goal [of the transfer] is to ensure the preservation of the territory, including for conducting religious activities at the site where innocent people perished," noted the Yekaterinburg Diocese.
The remains found in the Porosenkov Log area, recognized as the holy relics of the Royal Martyrs, may be discussed at the next Archpastoral Council. The last such council was held in 2022.
