Two Thais confessed to the murder of a missing 17-year-old brother and his 22-year-old sister from Tyumen in Pattaya.

      Two residents of Thailand confessed to the murder of young Russians who went missing in Pattaya a few days ago. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing a publication from the Thairat newspaper.

      The brother and sister Nazimov — 22-year-old Diana and 17-year-old Roman — went missing on Monday. At four in the morning, they asked their mother for permission to ride a rented black-and-gray Honda ADV motorcycle. Twenty minutes later, an SMS from their daughter with the word "Urgent!" (translated from English as "emergency") arrived on their mother's phone, who was in Bangkok at the time. Then communication with both children was lost. According to data from surveillance cameras, the brother and sister left the village where their family lives and headed onto the highway.

      On Wednesday, the partially dismantled motorcycle of the Nazimovs was found buried 200 meters from the highway in southern Pattaya. Eyewitnesses reported hearing gunfire near the spot where the motorcycle was buried.

      "The police detained suspects in the case of the disappearance of the Nazimov brother and sister. They confessed to the murder: the young man was shot, and the young woman was beaten to death. …>

      During the interrogation, the criminals said they wanted to take their motorcycle," the Thairat publication states.

      The main suspects are 43-year-old Pong and 39-year-old Thong. They intended to cross the border and hide in Cambodia, and to disguise themselves, they changed into police uniforms.

      It is known that in 2010, Pong was already arrested for the kidnapping of a minor, and in 2016 and 2018 for illegal possession of weapons. According to locals, he was released from prison two months ago.

      The criminals are currently being taken to the location where the bodies of the murdered are presumed to be.

      At the time of the children's disappearance, only their 60-year-old grandfather, who was sleeping, was at home. At seven in the morning, not finding Diana and Roman at home, he immediately contacted their mother Zarina, who was in Bangkok on business.

      Single mother Zarina Nazimova moved from the Tyumen region to Thailand in 2018. She bought a house in the suburbs of Pattaya and moved there with her children and her father. On social media, she often shared stories about life in the new place.
