According to him, the developer TEN Development planned to transfer the area, which is officially classified as a park, to the city's balance. However, the administration of Yekaterinburg refused to accept the property. One of the reasons is the high cost of its maintenance.
As Slovikovsky explained, citing the developer's data, the annual maintenance of the area costs about 15.5 million rubles. The park has a large number of plants, including Manchurian walnuts, cedar shrubs, Amur velvet, and hydrangeas. Regular care is required for them, involving specialists.
To offset the costs, the developer is considering the possibility of introducing paid access. An unlimited annual pass may cost 3,500 rubles, a monthly pass 500 rubles, and a one-time entry 200 rubles. Residents of the residential complex will also have to pay for visits.
The courtyard-park is planned to open in December. Before that, the developer needs to finally decide whether the entrance will be paid.
