The meeting took place during the guests' visit from the federal government to the Sverdlovsk Regional Hospital for War Veterans in Shirokaya Rechka, which Spector had headed for decades. In June, the honored doctor was awarded the Star of the Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation.
"We came to once again express our heartfelt gratitude for what you have done and continue to do throughout your life. We would like to congratulate you once again on the high title awarded to you by the President of the country," said Tatyana Golikova.
In his response, the veteran of Sverdlovsk medicine explained that there was and is nothing more important and dearer to him than this hospital.
"All the years in the hospital, I worked in my native and beloved institution, and I knew for whom I was doing this. I love this hospital as my own life detail; there is nothing dearer to me than it. And I am happy in this," emphasized Semen Spector.
For his part, Mikhail Murashko presented Semen Isaakovich with a departmental award - the medal "For Merits to Domestic Healthcare," reports the Department of Information Policy of the Sverdlovsk Region.
During the visit to the Sverdlovsk Hospital for War Veterans, Tatyana Golikova, Mikhail Murashko, and Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Denis Pasler met with participants of the special military operation who were receiving treatment at the medical facility.
Tatyana Golikova discussed with them the quality of medical assistance, the conditions of stay in the hospital, and the work of representatives of the "Defenders of the Fatherland" fund.
