The Chinese want to participate in the development of public catering and tourism in Nizhny Tagil.
Entrepreneurs from Harbin visited Nizhny Tagil, reports the portal v-tagile.ru, citing a message from the press service of the city administration. Business representatives from China are interested in opening their enterprises in the Sverdlovsk city.
The business delegation from the PRC was received at the site of the city’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry by the head of Nizhny Tagil, Vladislav Pinaev, and the president of the Nizhny Tagil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Boris Sokolov.
The owner of a confectionery factory and a café chain in Harbin, Hu Xubai, announced plans to develop a similar chain in the Urals, with Nizhny Tagil potentially serving as the starting point.
“We came to you with a sincere intention to implement the brand ‘Pack Happiness’ in Russia, becoming a sweet cultural bridge between Harbin and the Urals,” noted Hu Xubai in her speech. “We hope for close cooperation and long-term friendship to develop this wonderful endeavor together. May our successful interaction be as long as the taste of our desserts.”
Two other projects concerned the processing of industrial waste and the idea of constructing modular capsule houses of Chinese production in the vicinity of Nizhny Tagil to develop inbound and domestic tourism.
“We are all working to ensure that the agreements do not remain on paper, but yield results,” emphasized the head of the Nizhny Tagil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Boris Sokolov.
He reported that the Tagil delegation had previously visited China, where they held negotiations with representatives of more than a hundred companies.
