The best investigator of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was determined as part of the All-Russian professional skills competition held in Yekaterinburg. The tournament took place at the Ural Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, reported the official representative of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Sverdlovsk region, Valery Gorelykh.
97 representatives from investigative units of internal affairs agencies from all regions of the country gathered in the Ural capital.
Participants competed for a whole week in the All-Russian professional skills competition for the title of "Best in the Profession."
Participants of the departmental event demonstrated their knowledge, skills, and abilities. Such as shooting accuracy with service weapons, strength, and endurance.
They underwent tests in service, fire, and physical training, provided first aid to the wounded, worked using UAVs, and conducted investigative actions at the scenes of incidents.
All stages of the competition were monitored by a strict jury.
To greet the participants and congratulate the winners, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Russia - Head of the Investigative Department, Colonel General of Justice Sergey Lebedev, the Head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Sverdlovsk region, Police Lieutenant General Alexander Meshkov, and the Head of the Ural Law Institute, Police Major General Pavel Kapustyuk, arrived.
During the fierce competition, the top three in the profession were determined. The first place was won by an investigator from the Saratov police. The second place went to a representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan. The "bronze" went to an investigator from the Chelyabinsk region.
