The government of the Sverdlovsk region has approached the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation with a proposal that, according to the regional authorities, will help resolve the gasoline crisis observed at gas stations in the region.
The authorities of the Sverdlovsk region have requested the Ministry of Energy of Russia to redistribute fuel supplies between Gazpromneft and LUKOIL. This, in the opinion of the government of Denis Pasler, will load LUKOIL gas stations and reduce the excessive demand at Gazpromneft stations.
The Department of Information Policy of the Sverdlovsk region also reported that, at the request of Governor Denis Pasler, an analysis of the fuel needs of all emergency and life-support services in the region was conducted, after which additional decisions were made to ensure their guaranteed supply.
The regional agro-industrial complex is supplied with fuel, and the released limits are directed towards ensuring the supply of enterprises in the region.
On Thursday, August 27, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak held a meeting on the situation in the fuel market. He instructed the relevant agencies and oil companies to continue coordinating actions to maintain stable fuel supplies to the regions, monitor stock levels, and ensure the uninterrupted operation of logistics infrastructure.
