Ticket prices at the Yekaterinburg Zoo have sharply increased.
The prices for visiting the Yekaterinburg Zoo changed on September 1. The cost of an adult ticket increased from 500 to 700 rubles, and a discounted ticket rose from 250 to 300 rubles. The zoo representatives announced the changes on social media.
The discounted ticket can be purchased by children aged 5 to 17, students, men over 60, and women over 55.
Some categories of visitors can still enter the zoo for free. These include children under five, veterans, family members of participants in the Special Military Operation, military personnel, Heroes of the Soviet Union and Russia, orphaned children, people with disabilities, and honorary citizens.
Additionally, on the 1st of each month, free entry is provided for children under 18, large families, students, and donors.
On weekdays, the zoo is open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and on weekends and holidays from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
