
"Over 100,000 people needed": Sverdlovsk factories face a serious staffing shortage
Today at 12:12, Deputy Minister of Industry and Science of the region, Julia Polshina, stated that the region's industrial enterprises are experiencing a significant personnel shortage.
"Industries in the Sverdlovsk region need over 100,000 workers. Considering the demographic situation, we have outlined several areas of work that we are steadily progressing in: increasing labor productivity, enhancing technological equipment of enterprises, robotics, and automation of production," Polshina was quoted by Ura.Ru.
According to her, Sverdlovsk region ranks 11th among other regions in the use of robotics technology. Earlier, Acting Governor of Sverdlovsk Region, Denis Pasler, named the actual personnel deficit in Sverdlovsk.
