According to the woman, on that fatal evening of July 7, her son went to refuel. On the way back, he agreed to give a ride to 20-year-olds Veronika and Anastasia to their home.
— According to documents, the car belonged to my husband, but I drove it. One tire was deflating, Sasha took it to the auto service and fixed it. He returned home and had dinner. My husband asked him to refuel the car since I needed to go to Yekaterinburg. On the way home, they asked him to pick up the girls from a bar.
The woman said that due to the open window on the driver’s side, the interior quickly filled with water. Alexander and the girls died from suffocation caused by drowning.
— Sasha had bloodied hands and wrists. He managed to unbuckle his seatbelt and helped another girl do the same. The second girl was trapped under the airbags. Divers said that the son opened the door but couldn’t escape.
On the night of July 8, a tinted Lexus at high speed failed to make a turn in Nizhny Tagil and flew off a bridge into a pond. Three people died in the accident. The young driver and two of his passengers died.
The driver of the SUV was 19-year-old Alexander Storozhev. He was driving with his friend Andrey through the city at night and decided to give a ride to two acquaintances—20-year-olds Veronika Svatova and Anastasia Shamrina. The driver asked his friend to record a video of him racing along the embankment. The first attempt went well, but the second "trick" was fatal. The Lexus broke through iron barriers and plunged into the water.
Andrey miraculously survived: he recorded everything on video. Now he is the main witness to the terrible tragedy.
