A Yekaterinburg resident- "non-warrior" was found dead in London.
A Yekaterinburg native and "non-warfare" activist was found dead in London today at 2:35 PM.
In London, the body of a Yekaterinburg resident was found; he had been seeking political asylum in the UK for three years, reports Telegram channel SHOT.
According to SHOT, 26-year-old Alexander Frolov arrived in Britain from Yekaterinburg in 2021 on a work visa (as a seasonal worker).
After a year of living in England, in December 2022, he requested political asylum there—"as a 'non-warfare' activist and regime opponent," writes Telegram channel ZERGULIO. But in April of this year, his request was denied, and according to close contacts, the man suffered a severe depression.
Shortly before his death, he was seen with friends. The cause of death is preliminarily believed to be suicide. An appeal regarding the man's presence in the country was scheduled for September.
"His friends are now raising funds to transport his body back to Russia," writes Sergey Kolyasnikov, a Yekaterinburg blogger, and the author of the ZERGULIO Telegram channel.
