Two people died: a 20-year-old woman from Sverdlovsk caused a head-on collision on the highway.

      Today at 13:03, on the Nizhny Tagil - Nizhny Salda highway, a 20-year-old girl driving a VAZ-2114 caused a head-on collision with a Haval. As a result, two people died, according to the Sverdlovsk Region Traffic Police.

      According to the traffic police, the VAZ driver swerved into oncoming traffic and collided with the Haval. Immediately at the scene, a 22-year-old passenger in the VAZ died. Later, another passenger of the car, a 23-year-old man, died in the hospital.

      Three more people are in hospital under medical supervision: a 20-year-old female driver, another 19-year-old female passenger of the VAZ, and a 62-year-old female passenger of the Haval from Nizhny Tagil.

      — The girl born in 2005 was behind the wheel of the VAZ-2114. A test for intoxication will be conducted at the medical facility. At the time of the accident, the passengers and the driver of the VAZ were not wearing seat belts; all participants in the Haval were using passive safety measures, — noted the Sverdlovsk Region Traffic Police.
