Neighbors offered their version of the disappearance of an 8-year-old boy in Artemovsky.
Residents of Artemovsky have suggested that eight-year-old Timofey Tsyplenkov, who went missing on August 26, may have been abducted. In their view, the boy could have been taken by car to one of the nearby settlements.
This assumption is based on the fact that the child was last seen at an intersection where he was allegedly trying to flag down a car. Neighbors interviewed rule out the possibility of an accident, such as drowning, unlike the boy’s mother, who, according to them, has resigned herself to that version.
The publication also provides details about the family: the father works as a foreman, the mother is unemployed and, according to neighbors, belongs to a religious sect. Despite this, the family is described as well-off, and Timofey himself is described as a kind, calm child and a good friend.
Official theories being considered about the disappearance include a trip into the forest to pick sea buckthorn, where he could have fallen into a quarry, as well as swimming in the local body of water.
