
A caregiver drugged an elderly woman from Yekaterinburg with sleeping pills and robbed her.
In Yekaterinburg a social worker went to a pensioner’s home, drugged her with a potent sleeping agent and stole 50,000 rubles. She then robbed a former disabled client using the same scheme. The regional prosecutor’s press service reported this.
"The culprit went to the apartment of a 65-year-old acquaintance posing as a social worker, where, during the drinking of tea, she added a potent sleeping agent to the drink. After that Savelyeva stole more than 50,000 rubles from the victim’s apartment," the agency clarified.
After that the woman went to the next 89-year-old client. The caregiver asked for water and took 50,000 rubles from her bag, Ura.Ru writes.
Some time later the woman was detained. She was charged under the articles "Robbery" and "Theft." The court sentenced her to five years and three months in prison and a fine of 100,000 rubles.
