Producer and actor from Yekaterinburg Alexander Zlatopolsky gave KP-Ekaterinburg his first interview after getting engaged to presenter Anfisa Chekhova. He told how he met the TV star.
According to Alexander, they met when Anfisa Chekhova presented him with an award from the society publication FB. It was September 10, 2024.
"Anfisa presented me with the 'Producer of the Year' award and joked, 'Alexander, if you want to receive the same award next year, then you know who you should cast in a film,'" Zlatopolsky told KP-Ekaterinburg. "I liked Anfisa right away, I got her number and invited her on a date."
Alexander cast Anfisa in his film Love According to Freud, and after filming wrapped in December they went together to Yekaterinburg — to celebrate the New Year and meet the parents.
Zlatopolsky admitted that both want to enjoy the status of "groom" and "bride," so they have not yet decided what kind of wedding they want.
Like the bride, this will not be Alexander's first marriage. He has two daughters, aged 11 and 18. According to Zlatopolsky, they are on good terms with their former spouses.
Alexander Zlatopolsky is three years younger than Anfisa Chekhova. As an actor he has appeared in 52 films, including the TV series The Lawyer, Happy Together, Glukhar, The Spider, Chikatilo (the role of a restaurant patron), and the films Ayka, Happiness! Health!, Love According to Freud. As a producer he worked on 11 projects, reports Kinopoisk.
