The Urals will be flooded! When will the rains stop in Sverdlovsk Oblast?
On Wednesday, September 3, Yekaterinburg was hit by the cyclone "Thomas", which came to the Urals from the Volga region. It brought heavy rains that meteorologists had warned about earlier.
Aleksey Pulin, author of the Telegram channel "Weather in Yekaterinburg", noted that precipitation will fall across most of the Sverdlovsk Region: the greatest amount of rain is expected in the southwest, while it will be relatively dry only in the north and east of the region.
According to the Ural Hydrometeorological Center, rains in Yekaterinburg will continue for at least two more days.
Precipitation should cease by Friday, and by the weekend the region will even warm up to +19 degrees Celsius.
