“At the busy intersection there is a traffic collapse. The traffic lights have not been working for more than three hours. Drivers are forced to drive haphazardly,” a local resident told Ura.Ru.
Traffic lights at Kuybysheva and Volgogradskaya were also out.
The mayor’s press service said that specialists have already begun restoring the traffic lights at the Lenin–Karl Liebknecht intersection.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Emergency Situations issued an appeal to residents of Sverdlovsk Oblast.
