Sverdlovsk residents were outraged by ticket prices for concerts by popular artists.

      In the coming months Yekaterinburg will host well-known artists: Guf, Lolita, Lube, Grigory Leps, Leonid Agutin and others. At the same time, tickets for some concerts are so expensive that their price is almost equal to a monthly salary.

      Many city residents are unhappy with the prices and admit that they have started attending performances less often.

      — Tickets have become too expensive. I'll have to stay home!

      — I went to Agutin's concert in the spring — it was great. But now, because of the price, I won't go. These tickets are clearly not worth the money, say Ural residents, E1 reports.

      Readers note that the quality of the concerts does not always justify the high ticket prices.

      — The price is like that of global stars, but in reality — a dubious show. The sound is bad, the live vocals are only slightly better than karaoke, the organization is weak. It's an attraction for those who come to the event, wrote one of the townspeople.

      There are also complaints about the organization: long queues, a warm-up instead of the main artist, delays to the start of the concert.

      — If a ticket costs 5–15 thousand, the concert should start on time, the artist should come out immediately instead of staging a warm-up. Cloakrooms and security checks should be properly organized, advises one reader.

      Some Yekaterinburg residents even consider going to concerts unnecessary and prefer to watch performances online:

      — I've never been to a concert in my life — you can watch everything for free on the internet.

      — People pay huge amounts of money for the chance to see artists who live in luxury.

      — If tickets weren't being bought, their price would be lower. Artists overestimate themselves.

      At the same time there are also those who support the performers and consider the high prices fair:

      — Is that expensive? People should receive decent money for their work. Try singing yourselves and see how it goes. And if you don't have enough money for a ticket — earn it.
