An unexpected march took place in a Sverdlovsk city, in which hundreds of people took part.
Hundreds of Sverdlovsk residents gathered the day before in Sysert for an unusual costume carnival. The creative cluster "Summer at the Factory" organized a colorful procession. This is how the Urals bid farewell to summer.
Participants paraded through the streets of the town where writer Pavel Bazhov was born. Overall, the event itself was connected to Bazhov's tales and the characters from his books.
In costume, the locals set off from the Turchaninov-Solomirsky Factory and walked along the streets familiar to the writer, encountering on their way the Great Poloz, the Mistress of the Copper Mountain, a bearded mermaid singing in a bathtub — she was on the roof of the famous car from Ivan Sosnin's film "Legends of Our Ancestors." Take a look at how it all looked in our photo report.
